Cogswell Surveys has recently completed an as built survey of the cycle track at the Avantidrome in Cambridge. Approached initially by Craig Palmer of BikeNZ for a quote, the directors of Cogswell Surveys decided to complete the task pro bono as part of their on-going contribution to the Cambridge community. Due to high use of the facility the survey was carried out late at night over a 3 hour period.
Using our state of the art Robotic Total Station the survey was completed accurately and efficiently by Senior Surveyor Andrew Watts. The survey information will be used by BikeNZ for analysis as they work towards their goals for the Rio Olympics 2016. Cogswell Surveys Director Pete McLachlan said "It's great to have the Avantidrome and BikeNZ in Cambridge, just adding to the outstanding athletes and facilities already in the area."
